Avery Laprade

Avery Laprade is an exceptional young leader whose dedication to community service has already made a significant impact across Ottawa. With more than 1,300 volunteer hours and over $200,000 raised for organizations including the Canadian Cancer Society, Family Services Ottawa, OCISO, Kind Space, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada, Avery has demonstrated extraordinary initiative and compassion. Her leadership in Sacred Heart’s Relay for Life, Algonquin College’s PR fundraising campaign, and FSO’s Music on a Mission showcases her ability to organize major philanthropic efforts and inspire peers. Avery’s creativity — from founding a school Variety Show to hosting a charity focused radio program — reflects her innovative approach to youth engagement and community building.
