Abdullah Al Qassab
At 21 years old, Abdullah Al Qassab has built a record of service that spans healthcare, research, and community philanthropy. As a Promotions Ambassador with Learning for Charity, he helped raise over $16,000 for pediatric research at CHEO and will serve as Co-Vice President of Events in 2026–2027, leading fundraising initiatives with a goal of raising $20,000.
At The Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre, Abdullah volunteered under Jonathan Vant, conducting more than 600 patient interviews through Ontario Perception of Care surveys to help improve the quality of mental healthcare services. He has also contributed to neuroscience research under Dr. Marc Ekker at the University of Ottawa and Dr. Naista Zhand in The Royal’s Integrated Schizophrenia & Recovery Program, supporting research on neurological and psychiatric disorders. In addition, he volunteered with Scoliosis Physiotherapy Ottawa
