Heather McLean

Heather McLean is a senior fundraiser with nearly 41 years of experience at the United Way and The Ottawa Hospital Foundation (TOHF). She’s raised more than $43M for TOHF and is a critical leader in campaigns generating hundreds of millions for healthcare. She was instrumental in the success of TOH’s Legacy Campaign ($108M raised for patient care and research), in the 20-20 Campaign ($24M+ in 20 months for cancer care), and the COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund ($2M+ raised). She plays a leading role in Ottawa’s largest fundraising Campaign – the $500M Campaign to Create Tomorrow – and is leading TOHF’s important next case for support. A respected leader and trusted advisor, Heather is known for upholding the highest ethical practices, chairs and serves on multiple fundraising committees, collaborates across multiple organizations, and is committed to the most impactful donor experiences.
